WHY OVER 50 AND WHY ME?
I’m Dina Mande, a 64-year-old portrait photographer, and photographing women over 50 has become some of the most meaningful work of my life.
Over the years, I've photographed hundreds of women in their 50s, 60s, 70s+. Every woman arrives with a different story. Some are celebrating a new beginning. Some have survived difficult seasons. Some have spent decades caring for everyone else and are finally ready to do something just for themselves.
I love watching what happens when a woman steps in front of my camera and begins to see herself differently—not as the younger woman she used to be, but as the strong, interesting, beautiful woman she has become.
Their stories are why I continue doing this work.
I believe this is our time to shine. Not someday. Not after losing weight, changing our hair or waiting until we feel more confident. Right now.
You have lived, loved, grown, struggled, succeeded and become someone worth celebrating. I would be honored to create portraits that reflect all of that—and show you the beauty everyone else already sees.

After photographing hundreds of women over 50, I have learned that every face holds a story worth telling. No two journeys are alike, but each one carries courage, wisdom, humor, heartbreak, reinvention and triumph.
This is your chance to be seen, remembered and celebrated—not only for how beautiful you look, but for the extraordinary life you have lived.

This experience was created to celebrate beauty that does not disappear with age—it becomes richer, stronger and more interesting.
It is a day devoted entirely to you. Together, we will plan how you want to be photographed, choose clothing that makes you feel incredible and create a collection of portraits that captures the many sides of who you are.
You do not need to know how to pose, and you do not need to arrive feeling confident. I will guide you through every expression and movement so you can relax, enjoy the experience and feel completely taken care of.
This is not about trying to look 25 again. It is about honoring everything you have been through and celebrating the fabulous woman you have become.
You do not need a milestone birthday, a dramatic transformation or
anyone’s permission.
